Birse Water’s chief mechanical engineer Ken Craven commented on the work AVT did for Birse Water: “We recognised that gathering real time data in such an awkward environment was not going to be very straightforward. However, from the outset AVT applied a professional and pragmatic approach to the problem and their expertise has allowed us to obtain some very useful information. We have combined the results of their trial with data we also collected regarding the build-up of sludge within the tanks and are now working with our client to determine the best way forward.”
